About

Camp Kateri Tekakwitha is a Catholic summer camp located in McCool Junction, Nebraska. It is a ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lincoln and is funded by the generous support of our patrons and donors. Bought in 1998, the camp was named after Saint Kateri Tekakwitha.

During the summer, we offer numerous programs for campers (grades 3 – 12). Camp Kateri is also a retreat and conference center, and we conduct outdoor education programs for our Catholic Schools.

Mission

At Camp Kateri, we encourage youth to be "reborn in wonder" by displaying God's pursuit for us through the sacraments, beauty of creation, and Catholic fellowship.

Core Values

Integrity:

We teach the integration of man with all of creation and the fundamental principal of doing what one ought.

Faith Formation:

The evangelization at Camp Kateri flows from the heart of the Catholic Church. The goal; to go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

Community:

We understand the relationship with God is made known through an understanding and relationship with each other. Camp Kateri will proclaim the relational God through fellowship and communal activities.

Nature:

Camp Kateri strives to bring man into an encounter with God through an encounter with his gift and beauty in giving us creation.
